La notte del 22 ottobre scorso, dopo aver ripreso il pianeta Saturno (v. link https://www.carmelozannelli.com/site/?p=2864 ), ho diretto il telescopio su Giove, di cui vi allego il risultato.
Le condizioni del seeing erano ancora discrete, ed infatti il risultato è incoraggiante per le future riprese, dopo l’ottimizzazione del setup ed il tuning generale dello strumento principale da 51 cm. di diametro.
L’immagine finale è il risultato della somma derotata (con Winjupos) dei 6 migliori set ripresi nel canale Rosso, 6 nel canale Verde e 4 nel Blu, ciascuno dei quali è a loro volta somma del 10% dei migliori fotogrammi di filmati da 60 sec. a circa 98 fps (quasi 6000 fotogrammi per ogni filmato da 60 sec.).

On the night of last October 22, after having imaged Saturn (see link https://www.carmelozannelli.com/site/?p=2864), I directed the telescope to Jupiter, of which I am attaching the result.
Seeing conditions were still fair, and in fact the result is encouraging for future shots, after the optimization of the setup and the general tuning of the main DK51 cm instrument.
The final image is the result of the derotated stack (using Winjupos) of the 6 best sets captured in the Red channel, 6 in the Green channel and 4 in the Blue channel, each of which is the stacked of 10% of the best 60″ film at approximately 98 fps (nearly 6000 frames per 60 sec. movie).
